Joinery

Paul Levy offers a design and manufacturing service for custom joinery
projects from a single desk to a fully fitted library.
The first meeting with myself and the client decide on the function and style
of the commission plus the choice of wood, veneers and finish.

I then present a design with wood samples and an estimate of cost and time.
Once this is approved a deposit is paid and the balance is paid on completion.

Our many skills range from hand carving, marquetry and gilding,
also traditional French polishing to high gloss polyester lacquer.
Another specialty is our ability to incorporate and conceal plasma/LED screens
and AV equipment and often having to manufacture unique structures
and supports in the process.

Some design projects will require custom, marble, metal work, unique glass panels
or upholstery in leather or fabric, all is included in our service.
A visit to the factory is offered to view your commission being created.

We carry out all our own surveys, create CAD drawings and fit world wide.

China Ware

Our hand painted china ware includes dinner services and coffee/tea sets.

For the bathroom and guest cloakroom we hand paint wash basins, WC pans,
tiles and soap dishes etc.

We find a suitable white body style, that our client likes, from the market and
hand paint with coloured glazes and refire so the new design is absorbed into
the original white body glaze. This makes the finished piece not only
unique but highly durable.

We have a small range of classic Chinese designs to choose from or we create
a unique design specific to your colour scheme and style.

Our artist is an award winning lady who’s prized talents have decorated china
for Thomas Goode of Mayfair and adorn the tables of many palaces, embassies,
celebrity, a private residence and yachts around the world.
